another good movie....
this is one movie that makes me laugh even when I think about it. and the winner is (sorry Oscar fever is getting on to me :) ) - Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron.
If you haven't watched, go to the nearest store immediately, rent or even buy a copy, and watch it. The movie has a small sequence on Mahabaratha at the end and its undoubtedly the most funniest of all :) the way characters come in during that sequence, taking the designated Pandavas and Kauravas by surprise, is hilarious......especially the turnaround of dushasana :)
humour apart, the cast has also done a terrific job. no wonder it made careers for Nasiruddin Shah, Om Puri, and Satish Shah.

True!!!..the sequence on the Mahabaratha is amazing...excellent action by nasiruddin Shah and Om puri...as u said, the "fight" between Dushasana and Duriyodhana is hilarious and the dialogues chosen for the duel also add to the effect...add this to the Akbar scene and you get Akbar in Mahabaratha....an extremely hilarious composition in an otherwise "Message" filled story...
jagan, blogging and jogging are my only activities on weekdays :-)

Dear Saranyan: Thanks.I didnot mean to personally fly to SRGM.Since I am still here to do something for the "Sethi" of my 2nd son I only had to fly mentally to the place and time.
Ur satire on Ramadoss is superb.U have analysed him well.As for Bihar and Laloo there is no redemption. That is Bihar's fate.
Pl see my comment on Piggy's "Een Palli kondeer ayya". P.K
